OK guys,

So after doing a little vid of my exhaust note before and after my mods I thought I would post my smokey engine for your thoughts as the vid captures it quite well.

Now it only smokes when going on boost to deceleration or when changing gear whilst on boost, as you can see it is quite the puff rather than a constant bellow.

Current Mods are:

FMIC
De-cat
Induction
Aftermarket BOV

Now the last thing I changed was the stock BOV that was venting to atmosphere to a Blitz BOV. Could the stock one been blowing oil vapor out that is now being blown out the exhaust?

Or is this the classic signs of the Turbo Seals starting to go and the smoke will just get worse?

Oooooor is it "#BecauseRotary" and is more fuel than oil...

That doesn't look anything to concern you tbh mate, looks like a usual modded 13b gearchange to me.

Just looks like a bit of unburnt fuel and i expect if you get the exhaust nice and hot that will be a nice solid flame.

Challenge accepted :D

I get the occasional puff of smoke/flame (nothing like the pic above though!) and just assumed it was "#BecauseRotary". I supposed it also indicates my cat isn't up to much which will be interesting for the MoT on Saturday
