Injector choice for single turbo

Im uncertain on what to go for but my power goal is 350-400 and my understanding is 1650 secondaries are enough for this.

My questions are,

Are the bosch ones any good

Are the injector dynamics worth the extra buck

And are they both compatible with an apexi pfc

I went with the 1650s and rail from dm. My single is around 420bhp and I'm still on standard primary injectors. I have zero issues with them, work perfectly and didn't cost the earth.

Yeah, 1650, 1500, ish is fine.

bosch motorsport injectors are fine.
I use ASNU (Bosch) but i dont trust them. my 1650cc injectors flowed 1300cc at asnu injector service.
ID (Injector Dynamics) Are good too. Rarley hear of any problems with them. (I doubt there is a wild amount of performance compared to a bosch motorsport unit but somone might prove me wrong here)

watch for injectors with yellow o-rings as they are designed for gas and will swell with uk fuels down to the mbfe (Ethanol substitute chemical) due to having rubber injector pintles.

Also you will need to make sure your injectors are High Impedance.


Lastly fuel pressure on stock injectors should be set to around 45psi. Any more than that, the injectors start to lock closed around 65-70 psi. (45psi plus 20psi of boost - 65psi) but since your not hunting for big power you wont be running 20psi of boost.

DM do a nice "plug and play" sorta kit. but there are other companies out there too. or if your handy with a drill. you could make your own.

What is your injector duty Neil? Also do you run meth? As wont that allow you to run less fuel in your map?

About 70-75% Rob. I'm not mapped for meth as not aiming for ultimate power from my set up. I usually only run water but can use either.
