Hi, I'm after a set of wheels for my 99. I'm planning to go 17" to get a "period correct" look, would like to avoid using spacers and will not be rolling arches.

Any inspiration would be appreciated and in particular, images of BBS RG-R's would be great!

Here’s a picture of mine when it was broken down on some RGRs. Mine are 17x8 ET38. I will probably get 10mm spacers for them, it’s a bit too sunken still for my liking (also ignore the shocking ride height, coilovers are due soon)

Lurrvvley. Racing beat exhaust?!

The fitment looks good to me, not too sunken from the image.

No, that’s the OEM cat back. I’ve gone for a fujitsubo titanium cannon now as the stock one was too quiet for me. These cars are meant to be antisocial 😂

I think you’re right about the fitment at the rear actually, it’s just the off road ride height that’s throwing me off

I think this has sold me on the style, so if anyone comes across a set for sale, please let me know! Thanks all for the images (y)

Any ideas on where to source the rgr’s from?

Also, any recommendations on width and offset would be helpful. I’m thinking:

17x8.5 et30 with 235’s on the front
17x9.5 et 38 with 255’s on the rear

I’ve found the image below - really like the dish on the rears!

They tend to be quite rare so need to keep your eye out on social media, eBay etc.
Yes, I thought as much, which is why I discounted them from my shortlist initially. However, the BBS wheels don't seem that easy to get hold of either!

Regas are probably easier to source than RG-R's in one of the decent finishes. Both are good options for an FD (y).

I have some mesh CCW's in Hypersilver/gunmetal for sale if you can go with 18".
They are specifically tailor made to fit the FD without body modifications.

Just incase you wanted to look at something with a bit more offset. That’s mine on 17x9 et20 on the front and et10 on the rear. 235 wide tyres so tiny bit of stretch and light roll on the rear Arches. The sit perfectly flush with the arches.

Have you had a look at the sakebomb garage wheels? Won't be cheap but might scratch the itch?
